1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and user type preference. When you register travel plans or create bookings, we store the details you provide (routes, dates, package descriptions, addresses, and pricing).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform: matching senders with travellers, facilitating bookings, enabling in-app messaging, and displaying relevant travel plans in search results. Your email and phone number are shared with the other party only after a booking is created.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication and database services, and Google OAuth for social sign-in. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Your Rights
You can view and update your profile information at any time from your Account Settings. To request deletion of your account and data, contact us at support@yatricourier.com.
